Terrible and illogical application experience, complete with personal data stealing and ghosting!

The application process for Varsity Tutors has been one almighty headache-inducing nightmare! It started with not being able to even get to the point of being able to sign the contract after being offered a position due to a postcode issue (can't put in a UK postcode, only US). After being threatened that my application will be withdrawn, I contacted and was told it would be fixed and not to worry. Eventually got email saying it was fixed... It was NOT fixed! Postcode still wouldn't work! ...

We spent 20 minutes trying to connect with our tutor. Once we got in, it was great and very helpful more my son.

Very unprofessional and waste of time .

I have a very important test coming up in a couple day for a apprenticeship. I needed help so called varsity tuters . Sounded great my 2 hour session turned to 45 mins even less because the ladies wifi kept cutting out . Nice lady but kid screaming the whole time . Just not what i imagined for 100 bucks a hour . Plus no refunds for being so unprofessional and now i dont have time for this . I would never again get a varsity tuter .

Fraudulent company

This company uses malicious online subscription tactics which we believe to be fraud and theft. My husband took 2 single courses prior to his military deployment and decided the format wasn’t effective for him. While on his submarine deployment they continued to charge him for a subscription that he did not sign up for and a service that he never used. Careful transacting with them...hidden charges

The tutor was great but the customer service agents might have been trained to dupe clients. I cancelled tutorials for the next month but they did not tell me that I will lose the remaining time after if I cancel the next sessions. Because I complained, they gave me back the lost minutes which the CS said were 45 minutes. Then I got an email stating that I have my last session back for 1 hour and my card will be charged. I called them to verify and the CS said I will get charged if I exceed ...
