Horrible company

Horrible company. They are casters when it comes to refunding money. My daughter mistakenly started this membership and we tried to cancel it 2-days (one business day) later and they told me that the $529 cannot be refunded. They only agreed to escalate the issue. I believe we should be able to void a (unused services) transaction a day after starting the membership. I told them that my daughter (a minor) started this membership and I want to cancel the service but they refused.

I feel swindled

I was satisfied with my tutor. My dissatisfaction comes in at the end of the school year. I asked to be paused over the summer months. I spoke to someone via phone but do not have a record of the phone call. After one month off, they charged my card again. They say they sent me an e-mail stating I can only pause for one month, an e-mail that I cannot find anywhere. When I asked to just cancel the membership, they refused to refund the erroneous charge. The company's running model is focusing on getting maximum amount of money they can from the parents while paying the instructors' minimum hourly rate they can regardless the expertise the instructors can bring onto the table. Most representatives on the phone were rude by either cutting you short or screaming at you. Nor can you escalate the issue to the management team because you would be told that "We, the phone representatives, would relay the issue on your behalf." The emails sent to ...

Bad website

The website is awful as if it chooses when to work correctly. A few weeks ago, when I tried to review a past recorded session, my recorded sessions wouldn't load, and the website took me to a random page. Nothing in the help center helped me at all because it answered random questions unrelated to my issue. A few days later, my recorded sessions worked again. Today I couldn't message my tutor, and the website took me to random Varsity Tutor pages. Again there were no solutions in the help ...
