Deceptive marketing. Hidden cancellation buttons on website designed to make it more difficult to cancel sessions. One tutor we did not request schedule sessions for us and informed us when he would meet with out son without consultation with parents. They were not clear about contracts. Rescheduling was difficult and if you don't use monthly paid for sessions, fees are deducted regardless. Varsity Tutors did an excellent job matching my specific nursing school courses with a tutor who has decades of nursing experience and teaching experience. I’ve had nurses try to help me but they didn’t connect with the academics. Likewise I’ve had tutors who know how to teach but lack real nursing knowledge. I can’t believe my luck. The connectivity of the facilitators is horrible. My son has a reading comprehension class: Time: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM CDT Course: Building Blocks of 5th Grade Reading & Writing 09305EELS Instructor: Tomi Student: Kaiden W There has been a problem both classes. This past week more so than the first. There is a reoccurring issue with my daughter’s regularly scheduled tutoring session also. There needs to be a minimum requirement in order for them to come onboard.
