when it works it is good but frustrating rating system and screeners
when it works it is good. But generally am eligible for one test a month or so and have to trawl through a LOT of pre-screeners to get one. A lot of these questions are things that are already on my profile, like my age or occupation so not sure why these aren't auto screened? The most frustrating thing is the way the rating works. My last 9 reviews went in this order: 5 star, 4 star, six 5 star in a row, 4 star. But my average rating is a 4 star. 5 star users get offered more tests, and I ...

I have not been able to get passed the verification process
I have not been able to get passed the verifying the PayPal part. I am suspicious at best because the look and feel of the Paypal they want you to link with is nowhere near what I use. Colors alone are off-putting, and then there is no way of locating an ID to enter into my more legit-looking PayPal app to make the verification this way. I don't trust giving my information over. I know PayPal has verified my account information because I have made transactions in the past. This ...

Do better.
This company has been in decline for a couple years now and the UserZoom acquisition was the nail in the coffin. Support is nonexistent, the seamless recorder refuses to upload tests, and the team couldn't care less about the increased amount of irrationally long and demanding test flooding the platform now. It was nice while it lasted!

Legit, but frustrating
UserTesting does pay what it promises, however it can take a lot of time to get through all the "screener" tests before finally being eligible for the actual paid test. I am generally eligible for tests 1-3 times per week. If the site glitches and you are unable to complete the test or if the test does not upload to the customer correctly, they will not pay. It's a good source of a little extra cash if you have a lot of extra time on your hands.

They closed my account without any…
They closed my account without any warning an explanation after 2 years. I tried emailing them but all I got was "As a deactivated user, we will no longer be supporting your requests. We will now close this ticket." Thank you not.
