Unicheck pros and cons

  • Provides accurate checks and visual results, making it one of the best tools for proofing literary work.

  • Affordable prices and user-friendly interface cater to students' needs effectively.

  • Limited availability of detailed reports and missing similarities can hinder the accuracy and usefulness of the tool.

I pay for this service as a student

I pay for this service as a student. Numerous times it ignores my footnotes/citations and still reports my text as plagiarized. This is a huge problem. Second, the service does not recognize references although it shows a category for references This web service is taken as gospel by universities yet has issues that create problems for students.

The software was used by my university

The software was used by my university, and claimed that I had plagiarized 31% of a paper. I wrote my paper from scratch, and even demonstrated to my teacher where I found my information and how it was dissimilar from the wording of my paper. This is the only plagiarism checker that checks against the web and gave a false positive on the same paper. It claims to be free for students but it isn't unless your teacher sets up an account for you. As more papers get put into their system and ...

"Not useful for educators"

What do you like best? I can't think of anything that I like best about this program because of the comparison to better programs. I work at an online public school that relies on our plagiarism checker programs to ensure that the work our students turn in is legit. We had another program that worked really well and had useful tools for feedback, but then we switched to Unicheck and it doesn't fulfill its purpose. What do you dislike? This plagiarism checker does not reliably catch ...

"Useful tool, relatively user-friendly, simple platform"

What do you like best? The product is easy to use, and pretty much fool-proof. It's effective in achieving the desired end result, and helps one to save time when it matters the most. What do you dislike? It tends to overstep at times, correcting where you didn't necessarily want something corrected, and creating more work for the user. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? With Unicheck I am ensuring originality & true effort from myself & my ...
