The low star reviews seem to be unfounded, or at least made by self-entitled whatsits, with regard with customization. It's FREE?? And you need to complain when they're giving you a landing page where you can connect your own domain... for free?!If you REALLY need customization for the site, it's $3/mth. If you can't pay that, then you need to rethink your need for a website. Either that, or you can afford to have an ugly subdomain URL because you're obviously not looking to represent your ...

Free — and slow.
UCraft is the only website creator I've found that allows you to map a landing page to your site for free. Good for getting set up right away. However, the platform is soooooo slow that I would never be able to use it as an alternative to Wix.

not very good experience..
not very good experience..accepted a 14 day free trial to upgrade, didnt like what they offered so didnt accept it at end of 14 days..Ucraft then told me that to continue to use their site i had to effectively upgrade because i had accepted the trial offer..almost like extortion..in the end went to WIX, much better functionality and its FREE..

Ucraft is a great platform, if you have an issue or a question the team answers almost immediately and that is want let them stand out. I was using an all-in-one platform before and I decided to build the website alone. Creating a website is very easy and the majority of the things are working like magic. Not user friendly at all!Unlike Weebly and Wix which there is WYSIWYG editor in free version. I will not recommend this to my friends!
