"Great concept, terrible execution."

What do you like best about Shift? In this case, the most important things are those that I don't like. At the surface and in their marketing, Shift is something that should ideally be saving time and making users more productive. If the app functioned as advertised and promised, it would be stellar. The product works well

The product works well. The latest release seems to have also reduced the amount of memory consumed, especially when I have idle mail accounts opened (I have 11 that I need for work). My favorite aspect however has been the excellent customer support experiences.

Overall great tool

Overall great tool, but some apps don't work perfectly like Chrome. Creates tabs when it should be the base app etc...

Love it

Love it, helps me all day long! Keeps all social media in all one easy place, and the price is great too :)

Switching Email Addresses

It took a little bit for me to understand what was needed but once I supplied all of the information needed, my request was completed in record time.

Garbage

I never write reviews but I feel compelled to in this case. As others have said, the new v8 version is garbage. They already had a buggy and slow product, and they actually managed to make it worse. Basic features have been removed during the 'upgrade' (?!) and it's worse than ever at loading up applications. I've been paying for $100 a year for the last 2 years and have now cancelled. They made no attempt to keep me as a customer or ask for feedback, so if that doesn't tell you what ...

Shift v8 is the worst "upgrade" ever

I found v7 on an M1 mac to be a useful overlay on the chromium engine. For reasons that are not clear to be they have been very aggressive in pushing me to v8 which has, literally, none of the useful features I used. It is VASTLY inferior. It is literally just Chrome with a sidebar. I could not be more angry. And there is no way to opt out of the constant upgrade reminders.

Has removed some steps in accessing apps (positive), but has also added some steps in downloading things (negative). Not sure yet if it is worth putting on my other computers.
