Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Trello is the ultimate small group project management software
What do you like best? What do you need to do? Chances are, your project could use some organization. If you're doing it by yourself, you'll want to be able to break the task into smaller tasks and accomplish them one at a time. If your effort is a collaborative one, you'll want to know which of the tasks your partner is working on or has completed. This is where Trello shines. All i can say is, when you have a project in mind, open trello (it's free, after all and get going. It's the ...

Awesome for team collaboration and granular projects
What do you like best? There are so many features with Trello! I especially like the thought given to organization.... You can keep it pretty simple or get really detailed. Each card has lots of options to track what you're doing. Title, description, comments, colored tags, member assignments, and checklists are just a few of the primary options you have to keep everything on track. It's also wonderfully visual, which is how I relate and manage tasks. User managed colored labels, ...

Organize Tasks Easily
What do you like best? The thing I like most about Trello is how structured it is. It is also very simple to setup different boards for different groups/organisations. Assigning tasks/cards to members along with due dates, couldn't be easier. I love how easy it is to add comments & attachments to different tasks. It is designed well and also works great on mobile. What do you dislike? I can't think of anything that I dislike about this, I guess maybe that it can be a bit slow at times. ...

Trello helps you get organized and get your to-dos done!
What do you like best? Easy of use. Simple as pie and doesn't have a lot cluttering the displays. Blue background is soothing and the categories are arranged in a way that makes a lot of sense. What do you dislike? Nothing comes to mind. Would be nice to have more cross-integration with programs like Outlook, Gmail, or Evernote but i'm getting a lot out of it as-is. Recommendations to others considering the product Give it a shot if you don't have any project management software ...

What do you dislike? labels on cards are not very intuitive , especially when you have many of them. it's hard to tell anything about label just by looking. Recommendations to others considering the product Just try it. it's worth it. thank me later. either you are single user or a whole bunch of people just try trello for managing your tasks or product. it's ...

Trello is Very Flexible
What do you like best? Trello is very flexible and has a healthy ecosystem of third party plug-ins. If set up and used well, Trello makes it easy to get a quick high-level view of projects, as well as low-level drill-down details. What do you dislike? Trello does not have some of the displays and analyses that a dedicated project management tool includes, like Gantt charts at the touch of a button, critical path calculations, etc. Recommendations to others considering the product ...

Kanban EVERYTHING
What do you like best? Simple workflow management for teams, or for personal projects/to-do lists. Organize ANYTHING into simple cards, archive them, never lose them! Keep track of your life, your business, you projects, your work. SO SIMPLE. What do you dislike? Not very much, does everything advertised - The concept is extremely simple, and extremely powerful. Don't expect JIRA-like enterprise features here. Simple cards - that's all. Recommendations to others considering the ...

Trello: A Project Management System With Both a Simple UX and Robust Functionality
What do you like best? Trello manages to expertly straddle the line between simplicity and functionality. The UX is very intuitive which is particularly valuable when working with teams as very little training is needed to get new users comfortable with the system. A few other aspects of Trello I appreciate: - Trello is very actively developed with key new features being added all the time. - Trello works just as well on a mobile device (whether through the app or browser as it does ...

Very helpful tool
What do you like best? All my actions are in one place. It is particularly easy to move an email to an action in Trello. What do you dislike? Layout is sometimes a little too rigid i.e. the screen does not scroll across when I add more than a certain number of boards. Recommendations to others considering the product Give it a go! What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Staying on top of all my actions. And my Teams.
