Are you using Trello?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Simple way to share plans
What do you like best? It's free for most uses. While I have used it very sparingly, my staff love the program to share ideas about programs were are cultivating. What do you dislike? Honestly, I cannot think of anything I do not like. It would be nice if the features that are in the premium version were more clearly defined. Recommendations to others considering the product If you want a free way to share ideas and keep projects on track, give it a go. What business problems are ...

Great Tool For Internal Project Management
What do you like best? I love the fact that thoughts can be organized visually. What do you dislike? It's not super intuitive for collaborating with other people. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? This is used primarily for internal management as opposed to agency collaboration.

Overall a solid service for simple task management for small teams.
What do you like best? I like that its incredibly easy to create new cards, turn them into check lists, and move them from one list to the next making it easy to keep track of what's on deck, what's completed, and what's currently being worked on by each team member. I also love the notifications. It helps me keep track of what tasks or cards I've been assigned to by other team members and where my attention should be. What do you dislike? The UX was a bit confusing at first to figure ...

Trello Free Tier Rocks --- Gold Not So Much...
What do you like best? I was brought up on Trello professionally --- it's was the first project management tool I used and I loved it. Intuitive, sleek, beautiful UI (and they have a great iPhone app too. The one project I was on that used Atlassian's JIRA instead was like being dragged back to the stone age. Trello had me using Kanban boards before I even knew what they were. My favorite part is that it's just so darn satisfying moving completed cards from the "In Progress" queue to ...

Gold standard (with pros and cons)
What do you like best? It's free to start and generally free to use even for small teams. You get what you is advertised (and probably more as you start using it. The way how it works will guide you to categorize and organize your thoughts. Trello teaches you how to make things done (but it is not such one sided app. What do you dislike? The advantages mentioned above may become disadvantages sometimes. Visually beautiful mean less information on the screen. Structure that helps ...

Solid, Simple to Use Platform
What do you like best? Its a free, simple, tool that can be used very effectively to increase productivity on any team if used. What do you dislike? Like any project management software, it is subject to how much each individual actually uses it. In our scenario there was no buy in from the top so it flailed around a bit before everyone stopped using it. Recommendations to others considering the product It's a great system to get up and running quickly and the best part is that ...

Good simple project flow manager
What do you like best? Allows for project status tracking with minimal feature set. For example, can get a scrum board together in a few minutes of setup, without baggage of a Pivotal Tracker etc. What do you dislike? Doesn't grow into heavily codified processes like a full on ticketing system would do. Recommendations to others considering the product Try it and see. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use it to make ...

Personal and professional Trello user happy with functionality
What do you like best? Trello is my favorite list-making and tracking software, and I have used it personally for several years. It's got a great easy interface, and I like how things can be color coded, shared, and moved around with very minimal effort. What do you dislike? The only thing I really dislike about Trello is the lack of calendar functionality and inability to link tasks from lists to dates and made timelines. Recommendations to others considering the product I would ...

The interface is very lightweight and as a result loads very quickly - Great iphone & ipad app - Great little user experience gems like being able to paste a list into a card and it asks if you want to make each list item into a card What do you dislike? - Can't ...

Trello
What do you like best? Some of the advantages of Trello is it's easy to use and straight forward. Being able to create tasks, assign them to my peers, and track them were awesome. The user was able to easily update cards when need be and that gave a good sign to the Admin where the group was in finishing a project. What also was really nice was the ability to really predict projects that were coming up. This gave a good sign for users on to really prepare once one project was done, ...
