Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Trello makes life better
What do you like best? I actually just recommended this product to a co-worker today. Trello is amazing, and is one of the best collaboration tools out there. It's extremely easy to use, and makes working on several projects with several people a lot easier. I have even started to use Trello in my personal life to manage meal plans and remodeling work around my house. I like that Trello allows you to make as many boards as you want and that anyone who has access to a project can move ...

Great free program for project management!
What do you like best? I love how easy it is to use Trello. Everything is intuitive and operates on a click-and-drag basis. It is very easy to upload and download imagery and even video. The various content uploaded is clearly laid out like tiles. We used this software as our scheduling tool and content database for social media clients. Love that updates in realtime and clients can leave notes. What do you dislike? GIFs uploaded do not animate unless you open or save the image. This ...

Trello for All
What do you like best? Easy, Flexible. Open enough to use for anything. Simple enough to understand on first glimpse. If you are organized, this SaaS kanban board is great to help you keep track of anything. I use it for recruiting, bug management, people management. What do you dislike? Sharing got confusing. Because it is so open, there are other more specific tools for specific tasks. So, bug tracking got sent to a more specific tool, for example. I could also use a ...

Great for live tracking of projects
What do you like best? Use of moving tiles around and ease of working with a platform that understood how projects are fragile and need a tool that reflects that. What do you dislike? A little limiting. Design was a bit clunky at times. Difficult to scale up with a large team. Recommendations to others considering the product Small team? Shifting tasks and due dates. Trello excels at that. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

What do you like best? Trello really helps people who are visual to see what word or task they have and get to it. It also helps when multiple folks are working on same project. Overall, it add tremendous value to your workflow. What do you dislike? I really wish there were more colors for labels- perhaps custom colors. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It helps us keep focused and work smarter.

Scrum goes digital
What do you like best? The abilty to customize my boards and have an overview of all the tasks me and my team have to do. What do you dislike? I think the process of deleting a card could be faster. At first I didn't even noticed that I could actually delete a card. I was just archiving them. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I think it helps motivation as you see the tasks moving along the lanes, you get a feeling that ...

A nice way to organize everything
What do you like best? I like the look and feel of it. The UI is polished and the actions all make sense. I also like that IFTTT has a channel for Trello. What do you dislike? I don't really dislike anything. I wish maybe the PowerUps didn't cost money but they also need to make money to stay alive so it makes sense. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Using trello, I organize my open source projects of what needs to be done, ...

Easy, Visual Project Management Solution
What do you like best? Personally, it just "fits the way I work" and it's intuitive enough that I can invite clients to collaborate on Trello with almost no training needed. If you're looking for a project management solution that is easy to "jump in and start using"-- one that doesn't feel like extra steps or more work-- this is the one I'd recommend. What do you dislike? I have nothing bad to say about Trello. Recommendations to others considering the product Just try it, it's ...
