Are you using Trello?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Effective Project Tool
What do you like best? The user interface is very simple and friendly. Items can be dragged and dropped as sticky notes. I also like its flexibility of moving the to-so blocks between different stages. Also, it's mobile app is great. What do you dislike? The ownership of the item is not very clear. Though you can tag a "member" with a block, but that doesn't indicate the responsibility of that task. Often a to-do is envolved with a lot of people.. making it hard to find the main ...

I LOVE Trello
What do you like best? What isn't there to love about Trello? It's easy to organize tasks, assign them to people, add images, notes and labels to the cards, and get notified of changes. It is the best way to organize your team's workflow and keep track of progress! I love Trello so much that I also share a personal board with my boyfriend to keep track of restaurants to visit and movies to watch! And best of all, it's FREE! What do you dislike? I'm having a hard time thinking of ...

Lightweight Product Management Tool
What do you like best? Great for showing progress for both the product and data lifecycle. Easily categorize, prioritize roadmap items and product requirements. This is from the free version point of view - which is another great benefit. What do you dislike? I would not recommend for a complex project management tool. Although, you can assign people to "cards", it is hard to force contingencies or hold individuals accountable. What business problems are you solving with the ...

Logical and simple to use!
What do you like best? I like that the software looks like and can be set up like a pipeline which makes it easy to see the flow of my business. I use also as a way to prioritize different tasks and I have separate boards for ideas. This makes it easy for me to put categories of different project. I can easily jump from project to project and add ideas in different boards and on the go. What do you dislike? That I can't zoom the software in and out to see more or less columns. I would ...

We love Trello
What do you like best? It's nice to be able to create a Kanban type flow were issues are started on the left side of the board and moved to the right through columns as projects unfold. What do you dislike? They tried to significantly jack up their pricing recently, but we're able to achieve just about anything on the free version. Recommendations to others considering the product Trello can be used for business or even personal use. It's simple which is what we like about it. You ...

Fun and highly visual project management tool
What do you like best? It is fairly simple, utilizing drag-and-drop capabilities and an intuitive interface to make tasks easy. The UI is very visual and easy to pick up. It works best for short and quick assignments. It is inexpensive as well. I would recommend it for smaller groups and quick projects. What do you dislike? Not very many features. Lacks project management staples such as Gantt charts, time-tracking features, and billing. Therefore, it's not right for every project. ...

Easy to use, flexible, simple yet powerful.
What do you like best? Switched to Trello after trying many different platforms, including Teamwork Projects, Asana, and Flow, but realized that over time, my team slowly stopped using the other platforms as it was cumbersome, and it's hard to get overall visibility. With Trello, the concept of lists and cards allow us to build a flexible project management workflow catered to our needs for every project, making it simple, visual, yet powerful. What do you dislike? Notifications can ...
