Are you using Trello?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Easy way to keep track of tasks.
What do you like best? I like how easy it is to collaborate with other people. It is simple to add tasks, make comments, upload images, files, etc. It is also easy to see the status of To do, In Progress, & Completed of particular tasks. This last feature is probably one that I like better in Trello versus other software services I have used. What do you dislike? I don't love the look of the user interface. It gets the job done and works, but I prefer the user interface of other ...

Great way to track ideas and tasks.
What do you like best? The ability to see the whole project status from start to finish and ease of adding information to the cards. On a personal use of the software it's also awesome for planning a trip and just brainstorming ideas for places to go, meals, daily activities, checklists to prepare for the trip. What do you dislike? After adding custom properties that should be included on the front of the card, the new custom field should show up by default and not have to be added ...

Trello is versatile for high-level project management and prioirtization
What do you like best? Trello is the tool my team uses to collaboratively prioritize features in our product roadmap, marketing and growth projects, and our sales funnel. I love the card-based platform, and it's actually fun to use while being incredibly useful. What do you dislike? I dislike the inability to format text without writing in html Recommendations to others considering the product Trello is great for organizing and categorizing any group of items into prioritized lists ...

Simple, yet powerful way to visually track projects
What do you like best? Trello strikes a great balance between providing a simple, highly visual interface that can be explained to new users within minutes…while also providing a wealth of functionality for power users. This functionality can be further extended through the use of Trello Power-Ups and by making use of automation and integration solutions such as Zapier. What do you dislike? There's not much to dislike. It would be nice to have dedicated Mac app (in the meantime I'm ...

Couldn't work without it
What do you like best? It's open-ended and flexible. I can change how I use it on a per-project basis, and other users can easily tell where things are without any special training or knowledge. What do you dislike? I'd like more batch actions. I'd also like better overviews of where cards are across my team/boards. Recommendations to others considering the product Don't get too locked in to working one specific way. The platform is highly flexible, and can meet almost any need. ...

A virtual 'board' room for your whole team!
What do you like best? I love the overall ease of categorizing/organizing information, as well as the interesting layout. Initially, it seemed a tad bit confusing, but after creating a few boards, as well as cards, it turned out to be very user-friendly. I also love now that after creating a card/task, once it has been tended to, you can mark it as finished. Initially, my team and I were just creating separate boards for those that needed attention, and then those that were completed. So ...

Trello has been the most effective tool I have to track projects for myself and our team.
What do you like best? The visual layout of the boards and the the cards makes it easy to skim the various projects going and where they're at (if a checklist is being used. The calendar feature has also been very helpful as I work on projects with deadlines that are further out. Again, the visual aid is one of my favorite features. What do you dislike? It would be nice if the calendar showed or easily switched between boards, so I can compare the due dates on projects. What business ...

Trello makes it easier to get things done
What do you like best? I've used Trello in two different ways - one way I use it is to share work tasks with team members, and the other way is to create and prioritize tasks for myself. Sharing with team members is quick and easy. You can add checklists, documents, and see who's doing what. It's simple to create different boards to make sure each person is getting what they need. For myself, I added 8 columns -- one for each day of the week and a 'future' one. I add tasks right to the ...

Great - Easy to Use PM Tool
What do you like best? I enjoy the easy layout, linear functionality. It is incredibly easy to see where a project stands and what status each task is at. The collaboration piece is also very easy to use and great for internal projects. What do you dislike? Maybe this already exists and I'm unaware of it, but having an activity stream per project instead of all in one stream would be fantastic. Recommendations to others considering the product It is so easy to try (free accounts to ...
