Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Trello is... Tasks Made Easy
What do you like best? Trello is a great way for me to get my tasks in order. As a freelance Linux Architect I have to deal with multiple projects from multiple clients on a day to day basis. by creating one board per client and then utilizing the calendar plugin to export all prioritized tasks to my outlook calendar I can create a robust overview of what needs to be done and when it needs to be finished. What do you dislike? There are a couple of things that Trello lacks. firstly the ...

Trello is great for project and task management. I also use it for bug tracking.
What do you like best? It is free and simple to use. It took minutes to setup and it is extremely easy to make changes. Issue tracking is as simple as setting up a list within a board for issues. You can track the issues, reclassify them, and archive them, as needed. What do you dislike? I have not found a downside yet. No problems. Recommendations to others considering the product This is the simple solution for those just starting out or with a small team. What business problems ...

Trello is a great (if not perfect) task and workflow management tool
What do you like best? While Trello could certainly be more robust, I think it's value lies in it's simplicity -- and also that it is, in fact, free. Our nonprofit has been able to cut costs on more expensive project management/team organization software (Basecamp, Asana, etc.. Just like it's tagline, the program is indeed "infinitely flexible and incredibly easy to use." What do you dislike? As it is a free program, I don't have a lot of complaints. Because it is "infinitely ...

I love Trello and use it daily
What do you like best? I love that Trello can be used for a variety of tasks and can be customized to fit specific needs. Everyone on our team uses it in their own unique ways. I have a Trello board set up specifically for my own daily tasks. It's also used to allow staff members to submit questions for meetings. The main way that I use Trello is to update our team when items have been approved, ordered, shipped, and delivered. This works great for us since we are not in the same office ...

Fantastic Free Tool
What do you like best? Trello does an amazing job at storing whatever information I'm trying to remember. Trello allows me to separate and track tasks, projects, clients, ventures... everything. Trello has even introduced some pretty fantastic "power-ups" for things like repeating tasks on a regular basis. What do you dislike? Trello's interface can feel a little cluttered and clunky at times. You used to be able to use multiple power-ups with the free account. After Trello ...
