Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Simple tool to help visualize your projects
What do you like best? I like the simplicity of the interface. There are tools that have a lot of great features but I don't use most of them. I like that I can visually see my tasks on Cards, which is like a sticky note, and that I can move my cards from one List to another without making the system complicated. For example, I have the following Lists as statuses in each Board: Ideas, To-Do, Doing, Review, and Done. I add Cards to the To-Do list and start moving the Cards to the ...

Flexible and useful!
What do you like best? I love that Trello is a flexible system that allows users to create the management tool that works best for them. You can organize boards and cards in a number of ways. I use the tool to keep track of and coordinate several events and find that each event has unique characteristics and needs and I am able to use each board differently to suit the event. What do you dislike? The very best thing about Trello is also its downfall. It's so open ended that coming up ...

Simple tool for simple todo items
What do you like best? The concept of boards and lists is nice, also the ability to drag cards from one list to another makes management easier. Changes are pushed to all logged in users in real time, so if you add a comment, or edit the description of a card, it will change for all users without the need to reload the page. Card description supports markdown, so you can add simple formatting to your cards. Trello has a large list of plugins that could be used to add a lot of ...

Trello....Good Project Management for Teams
What do you like best? I really enjoys Trello platform and the ability to loop in different team members on different projects (or "boards." as Trello calls them. What do you dislike? I wish there was a way to calendarize multiple boards at a time. Would be great to get a sense of the big picture rather than just seeing to-dos for one project at a time. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are solving the ability to share and ...
