Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

An amazing boost to productivity
What do you like best? I love being able to organize thoughts/tasks visually. It makes me feel like each task is more manageable. What do you dislike? Some settings are harder to find. For example, it took me a while to realize I could easily edit my team by clicking a tiny hyperlink up at the top of my Trello boards. Before that, I was click on several different pages/menus to find my way back to that section and add new team members. I like that you can customize your board with ...

Fantastic piece of project management software that you will find great to use!
What do you like best? I like the ease of use and the ability to create as many work streams as needed. I find the layout simple and very easy for anyone to setup within a day to get it up and running. You have options to create various boards that show your workflow from start to finish that gives your team access to see an overall picture of what needs doing and what has been completed and what has to be checked. From researching many other project management softwares I found this to ...

Trello is the game changer at the office and at home.
What do you like best? My favorite thing about Trello is how you can take a large multi-phase project and break down every step and task in an easy to use format. With Trello it's easy to plan things out and to see how you're doing. Best yet is its ability to collaborate with other users to form a team. Even better, many of its really amazing features are free. What do you dislike? As someone who has worked alongside smaller non-profits, a paid version of Trello isn't really an option ...

Simple UX for Team Collaboration
What do you like best? Anyone can jump into using this production management tool without training. It's intuitive and drag & drop. I love that I can see a quick overview of all projects on one page and reprioritize cards on the fly. What do you dislike? The attachment thumbnails at the top of the card are to big. Also, if someone is assigned to a card, I shouldn't have to also tag them in a note for them to be notified of a comment. Recommendations to others considering the product ...

The simplest tool to manage your team
What do you like best? We used to use Basecamp (which admittedly is damn good, but opted in favor of trello for it's simplicity. The ease of use of making checklists for each project you work could not be simpler. It would be the digital equivalent of having boards in your home dedicated to each project you are working on. Easy to invite people not on your team, great notifications, it's an amazing tool. What do you dislike? The main drawback of trello is no easy google calendar ...

Trello makes organizing projects fun
What do you like best? I love Trello's simplicity. It's easy to manage many different types of workflows. From our editorial calendar to employee onboarding, Trello helps us manage processes smoothly and keep our distributed team on track. What do you dislike? It takes extra effort to make Trello action-oriented. The kanban layout is awesome for keeping projects, teams, and processes on track, but if you really want to dig into the task-level details, it gets a little more unwieldy (in ...

Trello is good task manager, share board style of program.
What do you like best? Simple and self explainable to use. Makes tracking tasks from a top level view very easy. What do you dislike?
