Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Making tasks-noting simpler
What do you like best? I like how easy it is to use, plus how quickly you can add tasks, move them between different categories and make them as done. There are lots of more features if you need them but the fundamentals are perfect. What do you dislike? Not much, it is a simple software used for simple tasks; creating lists of 'to-do's. Trello have really nailed the simplicity and it helps me to keep on top of my work with a quick glance. Recommendations to others considering the ...

A great project organization tool
What do you like best? Trello It´s a great tool to keep all projects organized and on time. I love that you can keep up with your team members even if you don´t phisically work together making communication very effective. What do you dislike? What I would improve on Trello is the gantt creator add on. I think it could be more efficient. Recommendations to others considering the product Great tool and the free version let you see all it´s power. What business problems are you ...

Best app everrrrrrrr......
What do you like best? Flexibility has to be my no. 1 likeable attribute.... there are many though. You can set each board up to your own needs and requirements. It also works seamlessly with many other apps to include it easily in your workflows. What do you dislike? I have so many boards, it would be so great to have a view that lets you see all your cards on all your boards or view them on a 'my cards' board. This is the biggest concern for me as I use it to manage all my client ...

My go-to for simple project and task management
What do you like best? Trello is dead simple and super intuitive to use. What do you dislike? No mass edit functionality for multiple cards. Recommendations to others considering the product You'll be up and running in a matter of minutes. Don't expect Trello to be a comprehensive project management suite, but do expect delightfully simple task and workflow management. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use Trello across ...

Project Management At its best
What do you like best? Trello is a great project management software. it allows its users to simplify the tasks that every individual has to do and it gives you the ability to control the time it takes for a task to be completed and the quality of the results. What do you dislike? There is not much to say about trello in a negative way really because it is really simple to use and it allows its users to keep track of what they are doing. I dont like the fact that it doesnt have an ...

Needs Quite A Bit of Improvement
What do you like best? It's easy to collaborate on but that's really about it. What do you dislike? The look of it isn't great, the layout isn't very user-friendly and generally, it's poorly laid out. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's helpful purely in the context of collaborating on projects.

Good for managing basic tasks, needs more features
What do you like best? I like that I can manage several pages of tasks and have students check off what they've done with ease. I like the color coding feature for task types and for project types. I also like that it interfaces with Box, DropBox, Google Docs, and other document storage sites. This makes it easy to keep related items together. What do you dislike? The calendar feature is not intuitive and I cannot use it for managing meeting times. Tasks with due dates appear on the ...

Great for collecting user feedback!
What do you like best? I like that this lets me easily tally up customer feedback/requests in a way that is quantitative. What do you dislike? So far there's nothing that I strongly dislike! Recommendations to others considering the product Try it! It's a great way to share information collaboratively - especially if you're part of a remote organization like we are. This has become a great way for me to share quantitative information with our executive team to demonstrate what kind ...

Super Simple Task/Workflow Management
What do you like best? Trello is incredibly intuitive, which makes it awesome for rolling out quickly to a group or team. There is no complex training required, people just look at the boards, and they make sense. What do you dislike? More native reporting tools would be excellent. That would allow management to understand that is happening with the background data more easily. Recommendations to others considering the product It's so simple to use, in less than an hour you can set ...
