Are you using Trello?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Trello seamlessly integrates into both my personal and professional life
What do you like best? I use this in a professional manner, but really found the underlying beauty in using it in my personal life as well. I'm able to create a To Do list (applies to both work and home that I am able to access via the Trello app and the desktop website. They sync automatically and this has been amazing. You can create checklists, due dates (with a nice visual indicator of how imminent the task is, add attachments, leave notes. There are so many features you can take ...

Great for teams
What do you like best? Trello is great for teams and helps you make the most out of your projects. It's easy to use and has a lot of integrations. What do you dislike? Somehow it could be easier to use or have more templates. As it's really flexible, it's easy to get lost. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Project management and communication

Great task management tool
What do you like best? The layout is really simple in comparison to other tools, with just the kanban view of tasks in your own predefined lists/ statuses. You can add coloured labels to each task, assign them to team members and comment on progress. What do you dislike? You're very limited to the layout, kanban is the only view in comparison to Asana which can use a variety of views and layouts. This means trello isn't ideal for all types of project that needs to use more of a ...

Great way to manage projects!
What do you like best? Another tool that does a great job at allowing intercommunication between all departments involved, in one place! Our CS team can easily get projects over to our Marketing Department and see timelines involved. It also is very useful just to stay organized on what is being done and what needs to be done. What do you dislike? The navigation can be a little tricky and clunky, but once you get a hold of it, you are good to go! What business problems are you ...

Can't remember how I was able to work before Trello. Kanban Management without even knowing the word
What do you like best? Instant learning curve. Instant setup. Instant value added for your project management. No lost time on learning the solution, no Bells & Whistles : You can teach someone how to use and collaborate with Trello in less than 2 min (for real; What do you dislike? When your requirements increase, Trello (or any other Kanban tool car feel limited. Everything is open, so you can't enforce a workflow. Everything is on the same level, so you can't hide the ...

Great software for anyone who loves Kanban boards
What do you like best? I love that this software is highly visual and has integrations with other useful tools like Google Drive and Slack. It is easy to create boards and categorize lists and cards. Trello also offers a bunch of templates for boards that the user can choose from, so, for example, if you are starting an Editorial board, you don't have to make up the structure of it from scratch. What do you dislike? There is no built in calendar, however Planyway Calendar fixes that ...

Simple and efficient organization
What do you like best? I like that a group of people can see shared and individual tasks, and move tasks from "to-do" to "done" in a visual way. It's simple enough even for the somewhat more technologically challenged to use. There's also a lot of cool backgrounds to choose from. What do you dislike? I wish the display could be set so that you could see all sub-tasks underneath a tab at once without having to click on it/expand it. Recommendations to others considering the product ...

Great for storing content
What do you like best? My favorite feature is that you can add the Trello widget to your browser so that you can post a URL to a board with just a couple of clicks. Also, you can add dates for when to post your content. What do you dislike? I wish I could post directly from Trello to social media sites. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure that everyone one understands how to use it once you have it. It's not that valuable if only a couple of people in a ...

A good way to track projects step-by-step
What do you like best? The ability to track every single step of a project. As an entrepreneur I have to do a lot of "little things" to keep things running smoothly. Using Trello cards helps me work on my big ideas without neglecting the smaller (sometimes not-so-interesting tasks that they require. What do you dislike? I wish you could stack or "sticky" cards on top of each other instead of having them all list vertically. Recommendations to others considering the product I ...

Really nice design, enables u to colaborate quickly
What do you like best? Assigning roles, owners of the task, checklists. Easy way to move cards between different Trello boards What do you dislike? I really think it is a great tool. It misses more integrations, for example to have a tool that can enable you to collect information, and that it automatically appears as one of the cards What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use it in Agile methodology, for out Kanban ...
