Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Good for collaboration
What do you like best? I like that Trello allows multiple users to communicate on one project and access docs, checklists, etc. The checklists can easily be copied from card to card, which helps us maintain our "best practices". Notifications make it easy to track what's happening on each project and help you stay on top of your work. What do you dislike? The calendar function needs some tweaking. We use the "due date" to schedule when we need a proof to send to a client. But, the ...

New User, coming to terms
What do you like best? The Trello Board system is a great way to split my work streams so that I can focus on one thing at a time. I like that the basic version is free for unlimited users so that I can really get the team on it and giving it a good try. What do you dislike? I dislike that the integrations are limited to three even with gold status - that's the stuff that will take this from unworkable to brilliant. I'm still working out recurring cards and I'm not convinced I've ...
