Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Great Project Management System
What do you like best? Trello keeps me organized and that's no small feat. It's a very efficient way to manage all of your clients and projects! What do you dislike? I don't like that you can't check off when you've looked at a notification. Sometimes pings are missed. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use Trello to keep all of our clients projects and tasks organized - it solves the problem of having to use email too much, ...

Easy to use, easy to customize
What do you like best? Trello is one of the most versatile project management boards on the market. I used it in a marketing role for content management, but you can customize columns and cards to fit just about any use. It doesn't lag like other, bulkier kanban boards, either. Snappy, responsive UI. Easy to invite new team members and create new boards, based on project needs. What do you dislike? No complaints to speak of. I could see some teams that need more advanced features like ...

Best Time and Project Management Software!
What do you like best? It's super user friendly and great tool for communication! Allows you to categorize, add attachments, add due dates...I use Trello for work and for my personal life! What do you dislike? Sometimes it will freeze up, but usually that is because a board is too full and needs archiving. Recommendations to others considering the product If you seem to struggle with communication among team members or find things get lost in mass emails, get everyone set up on ...

What do you like best? It's so god damn easy to use, so flexible, so intuitive. So simple. Definitely its versatility is the most attractive thing. I use it for boards on marketing, software development, HR, content... you can always find a way to adapt Trello to your problem. It's easy to collaborate with others, to set deadlines, to comment on problems. It's a huge way to organize work. The "Add to" button for Android is the best for GTD users like me! It's easy to ...

Easy to use, flexible task management tool for use from lists to product management
What do you like best? Trello is flexible for many uses, from intense product management to just being used as a simple to-do list. I often used Trello just to keep track of goals and projects, and aged cards would fade over time, reminding me to touch the project again. The ability to create subtasks and add image content to Trello makes it a very easy-to-use rich media platform. The column-based categorization format makes it my preferred to-do list tool, actually, as it offers more ...

Trello for blog management
What do you like best? I love that I can customize the backgrounds and use the cards and lists to visually organize my blogging, social media, and client projects. What do you dislike? I wish more of the power ups were included, as well as I would like to be able to sync posts/cards across multiple platforms without using a 3rd party solution. Recommendations to others considering the product Make a plan for why and how you need to use the platform before you get all tangled up! ...

Incredibly simple task management tool
What do you like best? The fact that Trello is a simple tool you can customize according to your needs, whether it's Kan Ban, simple task lists, overview of projects etc. The support team is also very helpful and friendly. There are many integration options available through "Power Ups" so it's pretty easy to connect Trello to the various tools you already use. What do you dislike? Sometime I feel some key features are missing, such as task dependancies, syncing between two Boards etc. ...

I wish Trello had more interactive guides as you are navigating the boards. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Special inter-departmental projects.

Trello has been very helpful for organizing my workflow
What do you like best? I love the intuitive interface of Trello; I was able to start using it without any tutorial. I also love how it automatically syncs with the app, making it very easy to stay organized on-the-go. I love the checklist and label features for adding helpful organizational details to your lists. What do you dislike? I wish that Trello had a clearer way of deleting cards--you have to "archive" a card first, and then you can delete it. I wish that you could delete a ...

Perfect for the sticky-note queen
What do you like best? Trello is super easy to create and organize to-do lists with small cards - similar to my sticky-note obsession, but WAY easier to keep track of. I use this mostly on a personal/individual basis, but know it has extensive capabilities beyond that for a team environment. What do you dislike? I don't have any major criticisms of Trello - I've used it for light-weight task organization for both personal and work uses. What business problems are you solving with the ...
