Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Agile Project Management and Best Way to Organize your Life
What do you like best? I use Trello for both business and personal and it's fantastic. I am a practitioner of agile methodologies and the visual card board replaces the need for stick notes on the wall. The UX is drag and drop and does a wonderful job allowing you to integrate other team members and contractors into your universe. What do you dislike? The mobile app UX is decent but has a long way to go. It can be hard to view the board from a macro-level and swiping to move cards to ...

Easy to use Project Management Tool
What do you like best? I love the easy to use interface that I can adapt to my workflow or project. This has the added benefit of the power-ups that Trello offers to move data or sync information across a suite of products like Salesforce and Google Calendar. What do you dislike? I'd like a desktop application but that is a minor issue. Recommendations to others considering the product It has a free version that is fully functional. I'd recommend giving it a shot if you are on the ...

Simple to use and customize
What do you like best? I like the look/layout of the app the best. It makes visualizing what you have planned for the week very easy. What do you dislike? Doesn't work as well for project management, but more for task lists and posting boards. Recommendations to others considering the product Again, great for sorting out task lists, or small project lists. But not something I'd recommend if you're looking for a templated for workback schedule or Gantt chart planning. What business ...
