Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The free plan caps you at one Power-Up per board and lacks advanced reporting—if you need burndown charts, custom fields, or detailed workload analytics, you'll hit these limits quickly. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Best tool ever for getting track of my …
Best tool ever for getting track of my tasks, both short and long term. I mainly use it individually, but I tried it also for collective projects and it's very fine. It also helps me in taking notes without losing them. I love it.

Basic collaboration tool
What do you like best? The user interface is intuitive and easy to use. What do you dislike? The cross-team functionality was something struggled with. We could get the right people to see the right things and is ultimately why we stopped using it. It also lacked the level of automation we wanted. It was pretty manual and created more work in some cases. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Team collaboration and project management.

Love Trello - Use it for everything
What do you like best? I love the visual organization method. I can know the status of every project or task instantly. It's great for projects and is particularly great for the cost when compared to other products. It does a great job without the big expense. What do you dislike? I'd like to be able to use Trello for more so I could switch between less programs. For example, Trello can be used as a CRM. However the cards are too simplistic to stay organized if I were to add a lot of ...

Light and Easy Agile-style Project Tracker
What do you like best? How light and easy Trello is to use for Agile style project management. Card view -my team and I love that view for projects. - Drag and drop -more often than not, cards will get dragged from one project (phase to another, so the Drag and drop feature makes it so easy. What do you dislike? Lack of board templates, for other random task. I don't use them as much, given I utilize the cards ad mentioned on all my boards, but for my team, they like to start ...

Planning Made Simple
What do you like best? For an organized, type-A individual, this program is fantastic! My favorite part is the ability to create checklists and to set due dates and reminders. It is also very convenient to assign different tasks (cards to different categories (boards. What do you dislike? I really wish that it was easier to see all boards on one page. The slide option can get really annoying, especially on a tablet or smartphone. Recommendations to others considering the product ...

Organize your world, anywhere, and with anyone
What do you like best? I love that Trello makes it easy for me to organize the ideas, files, and work. It is truly a collaboration nexus. What do you dislike? I dislike that Trello is not that attractive. Other apps, especially Apple designed, have just cleaner and more minimal UI's. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Trello helps us organize our in-progress work and keep track of outside contractors. We would not have a central ...

Great for organizing small teams
What do you like best? The ease of use makes it very easy for small teams to get started--they've designed an interface that puts most of what you need right in front of your face, and it's flexible enough that you can organize your group in a few different ways. What do you dislike? Using a single "board" for teams larger than 10 people becomes challenging--although if you start small and grow into it you probably have the time to figure out how to reformulate your organization ...
