Trello pros and cons

  • User-friendly and intuitive interface, making it easy for both new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.

  • Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.

  • Simplifies team collaboration, enabling seamless knowledge sharing and task delegation even in remote or shift-based work environments.

  • Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.

  • Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.

  • Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

Great for team collaboration

What do you like best? Being able to create a client support process and share it with new coaches I'm mentoring What do you dislike? I haven't found a way to dynamically update links in cards/boards copied from a master template. For example: if I maintain a template that I have my new coaches copy that is a link to a training or other informational video on YouTube, Vimeo, FB or otherwise, it would be an immense help if all of the coaches I support that have cloned my content had ...

TRELLO TO WORK IN TEAMS

What do you like best? WHAT I LIKE THE MOST ARE THE TEMPLATES, WHICH ARE CATEGORIZED AND THE EASE TO GET STARTED. ALSO I SEE THEY HAVE INTEGRATIONS WITH SEVERAL SYSTEMS, THEY ADAPT VERY WELL TO THE AGILE METHODOLOGY, I LIKE IT VERY MUCH: D What do you dislike? SOMETHING I DON'T LIKE IS THAT WHEN I START IT DOESN'T TAKE YOU TO THE BOARDS OR TO THE TASKS OF THE DAY, THE ENVIRONMENT SEEMS VERY LOADY, IF IT TAKES ME DIRECTLY TO THE TASKS OF THE DAY, IT HELPS ME FOCUS, WITH THE TEAM, ...

Excellent Workflow Automation & Deliverable Tracking tool!

What do you like best? I like the Kanban board set up of Trello and the customization available of Trello's different features. I also appreciate Butler, which is the workflow automation bot that enables set up of email commands and rule-based triggers. The UI/UX is a seamless flow through the different pages, and there are templates available for both aesthetics and data organization that make the software easy to implement for various use cases. What do you dislike? Trello is not ...

Love This Collaborative Team Experience

What do you like best? Trello has become my company's go-to for organizing cross-departmental communications and projects. The ability to tag other collaborators, add due dates, customize everything on a Trello board, and the ability for people include details and steps they've already taken, have made Trello my company's primary project management software. I also love the ability to integrate Trello with Microsoft Outlook and Slack. What do you dislike? It's not quite as ...

Easy to Use, Quick to Learn

What do you like best? Trello is a great visual organizer. Think of it as a virtual sticky note board. A very intuitive resource. Quick and easy for staff to learn how to use and collaborate. What do you dislike? Integrations are a little clunky - ability to create a card from other apps and assign them to specific boards and columns. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use Trello as project management for a marketing agency. ...

Great project management and Group Organization

What do you like best? Trello is very feature rich. You can add reminders, assign tasks, include images, checklists, and so forth. What do you dislike? You have to pay if you want to get the most from Trello. Plus it can be a bit steep learning how best to use it for you and your team. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have found Trello to be one of the best ways to structure big projects and all the moving pieces. Group ...

Powerful productivity tool

What do you like best? The solution is quick & easy to use. Performance is great! We did not have a solution beforehand. Trello is our de facto task management interface. What do you dislike? Trello has a limited interface. When you have dozens and dozens of tasks it can be difficult to find yourself (in my opinion). Recommendations to others considering the product: Trello has many integrations with other solutions which is great! What problems are you solving with the ...

Best companion for managing your project.

What do you like best? The way you can arrange the task of a project, assigning tasks, and the greatest of them all - makes you a team player. It allows everyone in the team to work remotely which is very useful in case all team members are working remotely. What do you dislike? It should add more tools for documenting the project or generating the progress report. Documenting is an important part of the project. Adding tools to help generate the progress report, projected ...

Trello Keeps me on Task

What do you like best? The ability to organize tasks into types and easily move them when their status changes but also the ability to keep running tallies of changes and movements for tracking purposes. What do you dislike? customization is lacking or maybe they do not make it easy to adopt Recommendations to others considering the product: The basic package is all that is needed to test, but for true project management you may want to upgrade. I use it on my teams for ...
