"The best Git tool on the market"

What do you like best about Git Tower? When using Git on the command-line, you get power – but not ease-of-use. When using any UI, you typically get ease-of-use, but not power. So the magic is the combination of both, and this is where Tower excels. It gets the balance right between feeling familiar to those who are used to work on the terminal, but also to give an easy entrance to the topic for those who aren't. So, it's not an either-or decision in this case, instead you can still stick ...

"Powerful but easy to use"

What do you like best about Git Tower? I've been keeping up with Tower for almost 10 years now. I found an email from back in December 2010 where I sent the beta to a friend of mine. It was only about 3 or 4 years ago that I finally broke down and bought it. I'd been using several free git clients for a while and they did work fine, but after trying a demo of Git Tower, things just clicked. It made managing my team's large git repository a breeze and was generally a joy to use. The client ...

"Tower improves your Git workflow by a great deal"

What do you like best about Git Tower? The super clean and intuitive user interface, the connection to my Github and Gitlab accounts, the amazing resources on the company website, the time Tower saves me in my day to day work. Definitely worth the price.

"Invaluable for big rebases"

What do you like best about Git Tower? I use Tower for the complex rebases and most stuff beyond checkout and commit, which I'll do in the terminal unless I am already at Tower. And because of that, I end up helping fix all the rebase fuckups and merge hells of the rest of the team.

"Weird performance on corporate Windows VDI"

What do you like best about Git Tower? It is good on my home Mac with SSD for basic Git routines, and it has GUI. Another "shiny object" for your collection. What do you dislike about Git Tower?

"A seamless Git client for Mac"

What do you like best about Git Tower? Tower offers most git features in a very clean user interface. It is built as a native application so it offers great performance and familiar OS features, such as tabs for multiple projects and keyboard shortcuts.

"A very old fashioned and clunky software"

What do you like best about Git Tower? It makes it easier to make amendments to any projects derived from Github and push all changes in one go rather than doing everything one by one on Github. It is easy to see all the changes that have happened from different users and the timestamp.
