We just started off with Thinkific…
We just started off with Thinkific after literally months of searching for alternatives. Note that Thinkific wasn't our first choice but the value it provides and the possibility to pace trial for the platform is quite the value (a free one). It gives us the leeway to really make the most of one platform. I would've given it a 5 but need to do more testing for it. For beginners in distance learning and instructional design, highly recommended.

Truly powerful platform with some growing pains
What do you like best? Thinkific has the power to run a full fledge online school. It features all the basics of an online learning platform plus many administrative controls that allow you to have student to student interaction, student-teacher interaction, and in-depth learning. Thinkific also has many built-in features like: certifications, quizzes, tests, discussion boards, and even a Zoom integration. These features are typically 3rd party things you'd have to figure out with ...

Saying 'Thinkific' is harder than using this LMS.
What do you like best? This LMS is aesthetically pleasing. It has a pretty intuitive logic flow so it's easy for almost anyone to navigate. It also works on phones pretty well. What do you dislike? I can't really think about anything that wasn't positive. Recommendations to others considering the product: They used to have a pretty decent free version although I don't know if that's still the case as COVID has facilitated an exponential growth in LMS demand. Even the paid ...

Easy, quick way to create online course
What do you like best? The premade templates make it easy to create quickly and easily. There are many different options of types of lessons you can create and even with the free version, you are able to put together a comprehensive course that flows nicely. Students are introduced on how to use the course before it even starting, making it a better experience for them and more likely to recommend the course created. What do you dislike? There could be more options to customize the ...

Take the headaches out of course creation!
What do you like best? How easy it is to create a course and get everything up and running! No more worrying about technical development - we can just focus on making great courses. What do you dislike? I wish the "landing pages" had more customization, or that instead the system would let you just point to page on your own website. We end up building our landing pages on our Wordpress website because we have more control/options, but if we want to use the affiliate functionality, ...
