I tell him to sit back, don't touch
I've been my Father-in-Law's long-distance IT support for more than 20 years. It used to be so difficult to talk on the phone, not see what he was doing, decipher his descriptions, and keep him from clicking the mouse button on who-knows-what. Team Viewer is so easy to use, and now I tell him to sit back and don't do anything but watch. I LOVE it!
