Using TeamViewer
Using TeamViewer through the years being a tremendous tool for helping my close relatives and friends from a distance through PC or mobile device. Lately I had issues with the type of account I`m using. Company thought I`m using TeamViewer for pro reasons and locked me out. After a short comm with them problem was solved. Totally happy with it.

TeamViewer QuickSupport App seems to Work
Since I was getting connection timeout while trying to help my father and could not use Team Viewer anymore, I re-tested it by installing QuickSupport on Ubuntu and connecting to it from Windows and it worked like a charm. (But I've only tried if for some seconds.)
