Tableau Desktop is a great way to visualize your data

What do you like best? The simplicity of the product and the overall cost is low. What do you dislike? To have full efficiency of the product you have to have an extra account "Tableau Online or Cloud" to share with others, and they have to purchase an account as well. In my industry "commercial real estate" it isn't a fun conversation to try and have a client purchase an account to view their own data in a different way. There are ways around this however. Very User Friendly

What do you like best? The Tableau Community is very helpful every time I stall and need help with a visualization. Tableau Public is amazing! It allows me to learn from other users and professionals and improve my work. What do you dislike? Some basic visuals, such as selecting top 10% of a category and the next 10% and highlighting these take up quite a bit of time. They require creating parameters and sets. Gets the Job Done, but Be Prepared for Setup Time

What do you like best? It does a great job of mixing data sources through it's proprietary blending and joining tools. For example, You can have a live SQL connection with a pre-saved query that joins to an Excel spreadsheet on your desk that acts as a crosswalk for a set of fields if need be. What do you dislike? It's truly a "blank slate" and it takes time and effort to get your dashboards off the ground before you can publish them for your end users. The gains are there, as these ...
