Incredibly Powerful DataViz Tool - My Favorite of the Lot
What do you like best? Tableau has so many features and yet is incredibly easy to navigate. A new user, between online tutorials, help, and poking around in the platform can easily ramp up to speed. I've had complex questions regarding the software, but I've never felt like I was lost between online help and tutorials users provide. It's an exceptional piece of software and the cost is entirely worth it for any business looking for better insights into the inner-workings of their ...

What do you like best? I like the ease of use and the simplicity of the user interface. Being able to drag and drop measures and dimensions, quickly realign and get creative with the visuals utilized. I also loved how easily a template could be created and reused for another report What do you dislike? There weren’t many down sides. I did sometimes struggle with not being able to have two desktop files open with the same data source. Recommendations to others considering the product: ...

Great visualization software
What do you like best? Easily link numbers to charts, good database connection. Good visualization especially when complex datasets are crossed, giving the appearance of a professional presentation What do you dislike? Could be a bit more self explanatory depending on how data is crossed. should include a bit more error messages since sometimes you'd only see that the crossing is wrong ages after the data is all organized. Recommendations to others considering the product: KPI's ...

Great potential - difficult to get there
What do you like best? Tableau can handle large amounts of data, which is very helpful in analytics. It can also be personalized to make charts, graphs, analysis of specific requests - so it essentially becomes a personalized dashboard for your business. What do you dislike? It is difficult to revise existing worksheets, instead having to replicate them as new versions. It also has some delays in updating data, meaning the hard work put into designing the sheets won't pay off if the ...
