In laymans terms, only the person who knows the password can access the files in the cloud. What do you like best? The reason one would use a service like this - to store data - is exactly what this does. The security is excellent and it is more affordable than many similar platforms. What do you dislike? The lack of collaboration tools makes this difficult to use in a team setting. Easy to use for both syncing and vault storage; cheaper than other services (such as Dropbox) yet works as well; fully encrypted file transfer, plus it's in Canada (so not subject to USA Patriot Act); helpful email support. What do you like best? Since I signed up with Sync a few weeks ago, I have cancelled my Dropbox subscription and cut my file storage bill in half. I like Sync's emphasis on privacy, but it's not the most important feature for me. The Vault is a brilliant way to store files that I don't need regular access to so that they don't take up a bunch of space on my limited computer hard drive.
