I'm not sure to be happy or not. The idea, the price and the security, all is great. But I had big problems with extremely slow sync (fiber 1GBit/s).After talking to sync.com support I was able to half solve the problem: I had to exlude sync-config- and app-folders in my antivirus. So far no problem. But they suggest du exclude also the data-folder of sync.com. THIS I do not understand. Hell, this is dangerous. Recommended for privacy and security

I have been using sync for about 3 years and have not encountered any breaches. Prior to moving to sync my cloud was hacked and most of my files lost. Therefore, security and privacy paramount reason for selecting a cloud with security. Sync is recognized for Zero-Knowledge Cloud services or end to end encryption for file sharing. The only negative, no linux app for a rapidly growing customer base.

What do you like best? Sync.com has live synchronization with cloud storage. As such it does not have a desktop interface, but the web interface is very fast and can be used to move files. What do you like best? I really like that Sync encrypts the files that I upload to the service so that I know that no prying eyes are able to see what I have uploaded and shared with my client. Sync.com is definitely my first recommendation

I have been using the payed version for the Sync.com cloud service for 4 month. It's priced very low compared to Dropbox .... about half the price per storage size, but unfortunately also comes with a very low upload/download speed, similar to the ASUS Cloud storage facility. What do you like best? I find the best feature of Sync.com to be the fact all the data is housed outside of the US in Canada. This means it is not subject to the US privacy laws. What do you dislike? The only thing I do not like is that when you are using the web client, there is no search functionality.
