Data at rest is important as well

What do you like best? When I was the DLP administrator for our company I loved how granular you can get with DLP. The blocking of USB and printing sensitive information was crucial for our company that dealt with cc data. What do you dislike? I think the footprint and the false positives needed some fine tuning. We seemed to hinder productivity and in our business that is something we can't do. Recommendations to others considering the product: Fully develop a plan before ...

Finally better DLP solution than the rest!

What do you like best? So easy to use and I don't have to worry about loss again with multiple backup methods available. What do you dislike? I'm not a huge fan of the subscription model of payment, but I'll grin and bear it for the protection that it offers. Recommendations to others considering the product: Your source code, your system information, your customer information, needs to be protected and DLP can do that and do it well. What problems are you solving with the ...

Symantec DLP 14.5

What do you like best? Simply the best Data Loss Prevention product out there. Symantec has added the missing things it needed (CASB), Cloud DLP, etc. through its aquisition of Bluecoat and only get's better. Symantec DLP leads the market for a reason. It is the best product out there. No other solution that I've looked at integrates all areas of Data Loss as well. Other products focus on one area (Cloud, Web, Email, etc.) but Symantec tackles all of them in an integrated fashion ...

Symantec DLP Review

What do you like best? It provides PCI controls for our organization for monitoring credit card information and state data privacy. What do you dislike? The web console is a bit clunky. The search feature doesn't need to be so complicated. Also, it's annoying to have to search network and endpoint seperately. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure to run through a data classification exercise before implementing a DLP solution. What problems are you ...
