Responding to email in a timely manner and keeping track of threads that take awhile to resolve.

There are a couple of things that'll make the purchase worth it: 1. Emails are unavoidable for you. Even though I primarily use Slack to talk to my team, I work with a lot of external partners, a lot of whom do not use Slack.
