"Simple to use accounting software"
What do you like best? What I like best about Billy is it's intuitive nature. From the time I started using it, navigation of the dashboard was straight-forward, and using the system was clean and uncomplicated. As an additional benefit, it hooks with a couple of other apps I run, which reduces my work. What do you dislike? What do you like best? I like the clean and simple interface and that they are always publishing resources to make my life as a user easier. I also like the fact that they are aware of the competition and it's easy to see that they are continually striving to make the product better. What do you dislike? What do you like best? The customer service is amazing! I've had some issues with set-up and I always get a reply to my questions within minutes. What do you dislike? I'm having a lot of trouble with linking my bank account. However, I understand that this is a vendor problem and is being fixed and I feel reassured that it will be solved soon. "Great for expense tracking and invoicing"
What do you like best? Started with Billy a couple months ago. I had been keeping track of receipts and expenses, but using Billy has been an affordable way to manage that much more efficiently. It also allows me to invoice my customers, and see if they've viewed the invoice or not. What do you dislike? Nothing really. "Fast and easy to use"
What do you like best? Uploading receipts is super easy and fast What do you dislike? Can't forward an email to Billy to automatically recognise a receipt. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Having a full fledge accounting software in the cloud makes managing my business so much easier.

"Great for Freelancers"
What do you like best? The ability to keep track of my invoices. What do you dislike? Would like to have categories for the items on each invoice. Also to be able to send invoices to multiple people at once. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? As a one person shop it is easier for me to keep track of my billing.

"Simple Invoice and Accounting Software"
What do you like best? Nice user interface. Integrations into other software. What do you dislike? There's no read/open notifications for the invoices. I want to see how many times a customer has opened/viewed any emails sent through the system. Recommendations to others considering the product: Great software for billing and invoices. What do you like best? I like the user friendly interface and design. It''a not overwhelming or intimidating. My wife who is a non-tech person found it easy to use and figure out. "Broken promises, lackluster performance"
What do you like best? Pretty simple to generate an invoice, UX is nice. What do you dislike? I was told that they would be able to link banks which was and continues to be false. They said they had problems and it would take at most a month more. I waited more than 6 weeks and then got another email it would take an ADDITIONAL 6 weeks. So 12 weeks - 3x longer than it was supposed to take. I've pinged customer service multiple times about multiple issues with the software and the canned ...

"Billy isn't what I thought it was so I don't really use it"
What do you like best? From what I could tell by using Billy, the capabilities that it had were easy to use. What do you dislike? I got Billy as an accounting/expense tracking software for my expenses. It doesn't have the capability to do much of that and instead seems to be more aimed at invoices. I don't need invoices so I rarely use Billy. I'm sure it's good for invoices but I wish it had better expense tracking, such as the ability to tag categories of expenses and state which bank ...
