Community Centre Cafe
As a volunteer in a busy community centre cafe, we were surprised at the amount of people who were asking to pay by card. Having searched through the options, I opted for the SumUp card reader for £89. This has its own sim card and therefore we aren't reliant on it being paired with a phone. The transaction charges are only around 1.6% which is nothing compared with the increase in our takings since we got this machine! Love this device it’s changed my life!
Love this device it’s taken so much stress out of running my business as I can take immediate payment from clients if I’m out of the office and it’s increase my turnover as I can take card payments in the office. I love it! Also the charges are reasonable and beat any other machine that the banks offered me for a similar machine. I’m going to have an additional terminal so that I can have one in the office and one in the van. If you are thinking about this as an option I can highly recommend it!
