Simples!
Our SumUp machine had been sitting unused for 17 months in the Museum of Ryde, thanks to Covid. However, after an overnight charge it was ready to go. (The printer still had 30% power left.) It's so simple that our volunteers quickly remembered how to use it, and the majority of visitors, having been accustomed to card payments elsewhere, are happy to see that we've got a machine. The daily usage reports provide a simple way for our treasurer to keep an eye on things, so simple sums up SumUp!

They also help charities . . .
As a charity (Rotary) we have found the Sumup experience helpful and very positive. It has helped particularly during the pandemic, where less cash is carried, and has accelerated and improved our fund raising, with the reports being useful for auditing purposes.

To slow and often crashes.
sometimes works ok but a lot of the time left waiting for an unacceptable amount of time even though there is a good signal and we have to revert to cash transactions. Quite embarrasing really. You have to switch the hand set off and reconnect while custmers ice cream is melting!!

I’m really starting to give up with sumup.. they used to be great however I’m not sure if You have grown too big to quick or what but the service has become significantly lesser I’ve been nearly two weeks now for you to simply change the name of my business and payment details..two weeks.. this makes no sense I’m so sick and tired of contacting customer support and either getting no response or constantly getting through to people that apologise and are very polite but tell me they’re not ...
