Superb Service

So happy with my SumUp card reader with printer and the speed of funds being transferred into my account. I would love there to be a virtual terminal for telephone sales as I am currently having to use another company to carry out such transactions but I have had no issues. A couple of times there have been connection issues but that was as I was in the middle of a field! 99% of the time the transaction was successful just by moving to a slightly better position. Awful customer services

Awful customer services. Started an online store with them and the domain I have purchased won't link to the store due to a technical error on their website. It just gets stuck at connecting and never connects. Tried contacting customer services numerous times and all I've got is "follow the instructions on website". I was deducted £50 as charge back along…

I was deducted £50 as charge back along with a penalty of £10 since a customer claimed that he didn't get delivery of an electronic item ordered online from my shop. My shop has no online presence nor sell electronic items. It is a simple stationery, printing and photo shop. Sumup keep on asking me proof of delivery / transaction which naturally i cannot produce since it did not happen and so ' i am in fault'. Never dealt with a worse company

Never dealt with a worse company. I was simply trying to make a payment with my own cleared funds and they refused to process it. They did have a tech issue, but I spend hours across 15 calls and not one person could help. I kept being told someone would get back to me, no one did. Save yourself stress and do not use these clowns

I received my sumup today

I received my sumup today, together with the usual 3-4 welcome emails. Then I realised I could not link it with my bank account but needed a card I did not know about. And there is when the fun starts! As usual, it is impossible to reach any sort of prompt human support, you just get lost in faqs and chabots. Guys, let's avoid companies where the trouble shooting is not straight and clear. Will ask for return straight away

Reliable!

My SumUp card reader has never failed me, and I've been in some odd places like a barn or the middle of a street. Others have had difficulty reading cards, but not me. Just bring more customers!

Dreadful. Zero customer service!

The machine went missing 26 days ago due to my error on delivery address. I CANNOT actually speak to anyone. I have had 4 pointless and protracted messaging conversations that would have taken a minute over the phone. They just repeat that I need to ‘look around the HOUSE’ for the package. It’s not a house, it’s a shop. They think people order card machines for their house!!!! I just can’t get any sense out of them. Fantastic Technology. So far I am extremely satisfied.

Lovely bit of kit and I love it :) I was worried about some alarming negative reviews. However, having experienced terrible service with PayPal in the past, as well as the big merchant services, I decided to perservere, even after my initial SUMUP machine didn't work out of the box. After all, lets face it, are any banks and merchants above all criticism?
