Just got a card reader from this…

Just got a card reader from this company and was left holding for 32 min on a call only to be told by a machine generated msg, that they were too busy to take my call. Great start !!!! I have sought a refund on their 30 day money back guarantee. Poor poor service. That's 32 minutes of my life that I will never get back !!! It wont happen again.

If I could give 0 stars I would! On the 8th of June I received a few transfers into my account and 6 days later the funds are not in my business account and literally NOBODY responds to emails or helps on the phone. I’ve been emailing since 10th June. I have now submitted a formal complaint to the ombudsman as the service is extremely poor. Very impressed, great service.

The SumUp card system is working really well for me. The reader is well-constructed, and connects perfectly to my phone . The authorisation process is amazingly quick and efficient. Funds from yesterday (Sunday) are in my bank already. Fees are reasonable and competitive. Overall, excellent . 10/10

Appalling !!! 1. Constantly holding your money for weeks 2. You will sit on your phone for hours trying to get through to the specialists team. 3. Can't get hold of line manager or any other responsible person. 4. High fees 5. Payment card frequent failiers 6. Card machine often WiFi issues Very disappointed with this company service. WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AND LOOK FORWARD TO LEAVE THIS USELESS COMPANY

Problems with air sum up charging

I have had sum up air printer for over a year and a half .I had an issue with my machine and popped onto live chat and had a response straight away followed by an email from support team within an hour ,I was given a solution within 8 hours . Great communication with the sumup team . Thankyou

The actual product - the card reader, the website, the app, the UI, seems to me to be very good, or excellent. I had a niggle to sort out, but their support were pretty helpful. SumUp looks like a company to watch. An open question might be: they appear and behave like a bank, you get a card, you have an account, but they are not in fact a bank, so I assume (?) you do not have the same deposit guarantees that you get with a bank. If SumUp went broke, I imagine you would lose your money, so ...
