Terrible service

Terrible service, started a small cafe…. Cash flow is the life blood of any small business…… still waiting for approximately £1000 worth of transactions 10 days later….. paying for wages and stock from my own personal account isn’t going to last long….. wish I’d checked here before using them, customer service what a joke…… I’m not taking card payments today and that will impact my takings no doubt……. Terrible Sum-Up card readers

Terrible, and just not possible to set up if you want to set up the card readers for a charity. The process is agonising and in the end, we gave up. Having paid for two card readers we lost the money which is quite bitter when we were fund raising or a charity! Tried to call the help centre and customer services but absolutely no response. Tried to contact via email but no email address available. Impossible to contact. Stay away from this company.

What an absolute disaster!

What an absolute disaster!! Been using SumUp for years. £180 for a compatible device. Yesterday was a complete mess with systems down. Today? New upload and my device (and my daughter's device from her shop) no longer compatible. Staff running about trying to connect their phones. Complete chaos. Not a great impression in a busy shop. What is going on???

I’m trying to link my SumUp to my bank…

I’m trying to link my SumUp to my bank account but when I go in to amend my bank account details, you say you need to send me a verification code to my mobile, but then you list an incorrect number! My number is correct in my profile. So I don’t know what to do, I can’t get hold of anyone on the phone, no reply to emails, I have an event today but I can’t use my machine as I worry I’ll never be able to access my money! Poor service – is there anybody behind the wheel?

Poor service. Sign up was easy and kept well informed of progress of chip machine. That's where it ends... Trying to contact them is impossible and when you do get through you are fobbed off and told it's being handled. I have not done any transactions yet but on the evidence I have so far I will be cancelling it before they cause me any damage to my business financially.
