Up and Running.

I had a problem with setting up my card machine because I am useless when it comes to this sort of thing but the sum up support team took me through the problem and thanks to Adam and Mia we got there and now I am up and running and I would have no problem in recommending sum up. Thank You for your help.

Customer Support no ownership of problems - Phone Support non-existent. Battery lasts less than a day, Automatic MasterCard Signup, Forced Google Pay Signup

UPDATE 6th October 2022 - My customers cannot make any payments via emailed invoices. I contacted support (via chat as there is no phone support) and they refused to take ownership or provide useful help. They said "I have checked the details and I can see that there might be some kind of a glitch. Please try after some time." The Status Page says all systems are operational. Resolved - great service from Anna on behalf of Sum up - finally got through to support centre & her help in resolving my issue was brilliant. Much better actually being able to talk to a human!

Terrible - wished I’d never started with this company. They have my bank details but I am still waiting for my payout. I started with them as I am making jewellery to sell on behalf of the charity MIND. I can’t afford to pay the charity from the event I had a stall at a market until I have the money people paid for my goods via Sumup. It is not a large amount but I feel humiliated as I have advised the charity of the amount I raised on their behalf but as yet haven’t been able to forward ...

Don't even deserve 1 Star!

So they let me open an account. First payment in they freeze my account. Email me to change my bank details so I can withdraw MY money and it just keeps coming up with error! Absolute evil company! STAY WELL CLEAR DONT BE FOOLED BY ANY 'POSITIVE' REVIEWS

Total Disaster Doesn't do the basics

As others have noted I am also a hostage of SumUp after it bought Debitoor. Initial problems, Details of my Company did not come across so I wasting time fixing their terrible data migration instead of sending invoices. Every time you log on they want more data, personal, bank for 'legal' reasons. You can skip it every time I advise you do but its something else to hate about SumUp, they try and get your data while you are trying to get paid. I imagine eventually customers surrender just ...

Excellent outfit, great back-up.

The whole sumup experience has been excellent. I had been trading pre-Covid on a cash-only basis( no signal out in injun country for Bank-type mobile readers!) Sumup was suggested to me by a friend, and bingo, I had lots of help from patient, helpful folk, no need of a Merchant Account, a terrificly good card reader that printed receipts, and it saved my bacon in Covid!

Outstanding service

First time I've had to deal with SumUp Support. My card reader became blocked. Via a couple of emails all dealt with and a replacement is already on it's way. Outstanding service. Thank you.

This is the worst financial company

This is the worst financial company we ever worked with. They kept our money for weeks and we couldn't send the money to our bank account because of their stupid limits. They have no idea what's going on in their system and can't provide any information on chat or over the phone. If you're growing a business then stay away!

Absolute waste of time with these…

Absolute waste of time with these people so unprofessional!!! A month ago a customer paid me into my account and since then they froze my account, after weeks of emailing back and forth they finally decided to close my account and send the money back to the sender. They said it would take no more than 5 days for the sender to receive it and make other arrangements to pay me for my services. Terrible service

Terrible service, started a small cafe…. Cash flow is the life blood of any small business…… still waiting for approximately £1000 worth of transactions 10 days later….. paying for wages and stock from my own personal account isn’t going to last long….. wish I’d checked here before using them, customer service what a joke…… I’m not taking card payments today and that will impact my takings no doubt…….
