"Support" - a dish best served cold

The whole experience with the "support" provided by SumUp seems like a stalling tactic. Our mails weren't read properly, we received absurd calls for action and at one pont they even lied to us about the warranty period of the product we bought.

Good system but avoid sum up credit card

Very good system but don't bother with the sum up credit card think it might be a bit of a rip off. Also don't try and link another phone to your card reader. It led us to complications about getting the money out.

Possibly the worst user experience in…

Possibly the worst user experience in recent memory I recently joined sumup so I was able to take in person payments for events, the experience has been complete rubbish. Their customer service is badly trained, totally unhelpful and do not take the time to help with your problem. My issue being simply to change the bank account associated with my account. I could not do it via the portal online because I use an online bank, so I called them up. The advisor told me only Sumup can change ...

Absoloutley shocking service.

Absoloutley shocking service. Won't allow me to transfer any funds across, keeps saying wrong password and wrong biometrics. The password allows me to log in, I can use my biometrics for anything else apart from sum up. This has been going on for about a month now. Contacted about 8-10 times, they don't even read your emails. Basically send you a stupid email saying to uninstall the app etc, I done all that and they sent another email asking me to do it again. Multiple times the device has stopped…

Update: I had emailed them letting them know that the device I ordered was needed the following week and if they couldn't deliver by then to just refund me. I ordered it on the 4th of December and it said it would be 2-3 business days. It didn't arrive in time (because they used royal mail even though they knew they were on strike) so I emailed asking for a refund as I no longer needed it. I also left this review. They replied to this review but never emailed me back or refunded me. I ...

An asset for any small business

SumUp doesn't have excessive charges, only charging a modest percentage for each transaction, with no standing charges and the card machines are very reasonably-priced too. The app works well, communication is very good, money is paid out quickly and staff are helpful. Would 100 per cent recommend.

Excellent customer service with quick…

Excellent customer service with quick responses and great advice and solutions to issues we've encountered. The app is brilliant. Easy to use and has great facilities available and no issues thus far with the card reader, which is a great size and easy to use and connect. Thanks you Sumup. HyggeHoose
