Do not use SumUp. They are scammer.

I was working on my website that’s why I toke 2 payment from customer by sumup link. And next day they freeze my payout instead of giving me my money. After that they asked for some documents, I provide them all documents. After 2 week they close my Sumup profile for no reason. And they said I’ll receive my payout after 2 month which is 17th of May. And today is 25th May still I haven’t received my money. I ask for a cancellation due to very poor and slow system I phoned them

I phoned them Today to say I want to cancel everything with them - they still took my money from my bank - one of the person on phone - confirmed that everything has been cancelled - but just now my money has been taken by them - they did not cancel my transaction !!!! They are thieves !!!

I am a Sum up customer for 5 years or more . But recently I have contacted customer service and technical support team for various issues related with my invoicing . I never seen a bunch clueless people before . Always say email them after once you finish call , someone will contact.Unfortunately no one will contact you . A nightmare to deal with

Worse customer service and tech depart.No one knows what to do , allways say screen shot or email after the calls , so they can runaway . Waste of your time and ruin your business.I been using them few years as a back up , sadly it's time to leave .Something went wrong with this company. It’s like a sinking ship now.

Slow and inefficient service. Unwanted marketing.

Well. this hasn't been a good start. I purchased a sumup card reader in december as a back up to my current card reader supplier (zettle). Finally got around to setting my account up after a winter break from the craft fair season, and am already considering giving up on sumup and getting rid of the card reader. Been with sum up a while however they will not allow refunds to customers once you’ve been paid out ( even though I’d withheld sufficient funds within the account balance) Said I need to refund customer bank transfer. We had confirmation that the account was open and was usable straight away and that a card had been sent out, which was great(we thought). Device is blocked. Answer from Sumup supporet (his name is often Sam) : "Unfortunately, once we see that message means that the card reader is no longer able to be used. So I would advise ordering a new one from the website or go to a near store a buy a new one" Great support. Unbelivable that they are still in business.
