I would put zero if I could took £4500…

I would put zero if I could took £4500 of payments closed my account said I’d have to wait 2 months sending me confirmation of said received payment day I’ve now waited 3 month still no payment customer service is awful scammers!!!avoid now I’ve left a review on trustpilot they’ve said it’ll be dealt with in a few days not keeping to there said day still no money received no customer service again these people are not professional I actually think they are robbers…

Our account was closed

Our account was closed today, without warning, I went on to chat to find out why. All we were told was that they can support all businesses and that the decision cannot be fought. They said they couldn’t give an exact reason. The chat agent skirted around giving me any answers. We are a small, female led photography studio and paying out for the sum up machine and paying their fees only for this to happen is a joke. I do not recommend, avoid if you’re a small business

A very poor company - use others

A very poor company, unable to use simple open source information to onboard businesses that have already proved they are legitimate. Customer service not fit for purpose and so constrained by what they are told to request that they have no ability to use common sense. Since any issues that arise with payment systems are likely to be in stressful situations, it's obvious this customer service team is not going to be there for a business that needs dynamic support. Closed my account for no reason.

Closed my account for no reason. Didn't bother to explain or respond in a normal way. Didn't reply to subsequent emails and the chat is a complete waste of time. Never seen such a bad Customer Service in my life.

My air device announced it was blocked…

My air device announced it was blocked after sitting happily in a controlled temperature environment in a safe box of things. Obviously it’s out of warranty as I’ve had it a while - I think just a ploy to make more money. Contacted a service agent who is trying to respond by saying there’s been a hard impact of it falling to the ground or something… Scammy company! There are so many mobile pos now, avoid!

Don't use SumUp

Useless support i ever seen. From the 1st day, i'm contacting again and again to their live chat about activation of payment scope for WooCommerce payments. But No and not at all, their internal team never contact you back and don't resolve the issue, don't know what are they doing. I don't recommend SumUp for any type of business. They will never resolve any issues instead of messages.

There should be option for zero star

I'm disappointed that I have to click one star so I can leave the review ,there should be no star option, they have cancelled one transaction three weeks ago but they haven't credited the money back to my account yet ,when I confronted them, they asked me to verify my business address. Absolutely disgraceful business

Absolutely disgraceful business - we've used sumup for our non profit business and without warning or paying out what's owed to us they closed our account down with over £3,000 . We emailed them and since refused to release our funds and the best excuse was we will endeavour to pay after two months. Perhaps because its a black male running the organisation which is why they think fraud. #BoycottSumUp #WeWantOurMoney

A nightmare to deal with

Worse customer service and tech depart.No one knows what to do , allways say screen shot or email after the calls , so they can runaway . Waste of your time and ruin your business.I been using them few years as a back up , sadly it's time to leave .Something went wrong with this company. It’s like a sinking ship now.

If I could rate as zero I would... Sumup closed my profile without explanation or warning. There's no way to call them and despite many emails and using their online"support" I still have no information on why the profile was closed. I can't access money in the account and I can't use the device for sales. There's no respect for customers and I would advise any one thinking about using Sumup to look elsewhere.
