I keep getting emails asking for proof…
I keep getting emails asking for proof of things, As we are a Branch of an Army Association, they think we are a company, and our Charity Number is the same for all branch's. My Colonel has tryed to get in touch we Sumup but they will not return his emails, the army dose not have time to play around with this. They need a phone number to call them. But i can not find one any where not good. I am stuck in limbo with no help from Sumup. all we want is a phone number HELP

What ever you do, dont go with these guys… no way of calling anyone… send emails never get responded.. chat service have no idea what day it is let alone whats going on.. after all incompetence they just close your account and basically what ever you spent on buying card readers and so on all goes to waste!! Completely unprofessional!

BEWARE! NO STARS DESERVED!
I chair a local branch of a well respected and longstanding charity. I bought a SumUp card reader during 2022 since we were repeatedly losing out on donations by restricting ourselves to accepting cash only. The machine is only used periodically at our major fund raising events but has proved very useful. This business is shocking I can’t receive payments from customers for over 2 weeks no reply from sumup team. I’m out of business because of this.

I accidently dropped the 3g reader
I accidently dropped the 3g reader. SumUp then blocked it. I contacted them only to bo told it was outside the warranty period. No offer of a replacement or repair. So I am now looking to register with another service provider. In reality I honestly think it is all to do with my low usage of the product. I am just "Small Fry" to them. Your Customer Care is non existent.

Sumup has not paid my sales
I was client of Sumup (MCXACQU4) from Oct'22 to April'23. Total revenue 45,460.98, commissions 690.02, cash payments 2,037.30, payouts 39,594.56. Sumup has not paid to me 3,139.10. However, the replies are very general, last one was, we have checked and all is good. I will apply to the small claims court.

They just don't give a damn
It's clear as day that they just don't care. We were at a show taking a transaction every 30 seconds and then BAM. Blocked. Contacted customer service through a BOT and then finally got onto a person. They said we hadn't fully verified our account and I had to send 3 documents and they would review it in 3 business days! Laughable!!! No email or communication saying we hadn't been verified! They then sent me the link that I needed to submit the forms but the email said my account was fully ...

Company that steals from charities
See Bronia's review below. Exactly the same experience here... small charity, using occasionally, and largely seasonally (summer) and looking after the product when not in use... and it packs up after 15 months use with no offer of replacement or refund. And no, the "customer support" cannot refer the issue up the chain. Looks like the software has locked it due to lack of use. And of course they won't unlock it. DO NOT OPEN ACCOUNT !!
DO NOT OPEN ACCOUNT !! They will wait for you to receive a payment then they will freeze your account and not let you have your funds for months and months, i will be taking sum up to court for damages, look at there reviews or social media they are scamming people left right and centre, i have also put a complaint in with the fca as this should not be allowed to continue

I wish I could leave 0 stars
I wish I could leave 0 stars. Machine broke after 13 months. It has been used for a total of 24 hours on 4 occasions. Customer service just say it is no longer under warranty. Not suitable for the job it is supposed to do
