The platform is great but customer support is non-existent.

The platform itself is fantastic. The customer support is non-existent. It would be faster to code the app from scratch and publish yourself then to rely on them to make updates. Very frustrating...

lower-priced & very lacking

Subsplash is a lower-priced alternative for local churches, but it is so lacking in features as to be nearly unusable. The positives: 1. It has a wonderful chat function which creates a mini-forum for each group (home group, kitchen team, youth group, etc.) but only on mobile. 2. Sign ups for events, meals, etc. work very well. 3. Sermons can be grouped into series. The negatives: 1. The website it creates for your church looks awful, but also has almost no functionality. "Media" (where ...

"Really hard to get support"

What do you like best about Subsplash? Started out really cool. Good plans good sales pitch. What do you dislike about Subsplash? Really poor customer service or support. biggest problem is getting someone to call me back when i have issues. They require an appointment be set up online. What problems is Subsplash solving and how is that benefiting you? They arn't solving anything..... and not providing promised services.

"We got it for the app, but use it for everything!"

What do you like best about Subsplash? We first got Subsplash just because there was a good app option. We already had a website that we liked. Then we discovered that Subsplash had a much better website option than we were using (and we were paying a lot more!) We switched over quite painlessly and haven't looked back at all. We love how the Events page on our site is integrated! It automatically removes past events, making me look better at web maintenance than I am. :) It also links to ...

Don’t recommend

Don’t recommend. I’ve been with this company for over ten years, before when they were snappages. Customer service used to be great, if you needed something done it got done asap. Now it’s pretty much non existent. All you get is I’ll forward your response onto this department or that department. There’s absolutely no follow up. I’ve been waiting for a month to an issue I’ve been having and still nothing. So we’ve decided to go with a different company for our website needs. Anyone who uses ...

"Lots of room for improvement"

What do you like best about Subsplash? Message video archive is pretty nice - we've been using it for about 6 years or so. I like that it can be embedded on our site and that users can search for key topics/passages, etc. Could use more functionality though - more flexible embed options. We're also using their Mobile App tool. Some of the features on there are nice - embedding the iCal feed, and utilizing their own message archive. Haven't gotten to preview their streaming service yet - our ...

"Subsplash is a game changer"

What do you like best about Subsplash? I like the mobile app the best. The team Subsplash are really friendly, helpful, and very smart. What do you dislike about Subsplash? I don't like the limitations of customization in the app. For instance, I can't use the Bible tab in the 'more' section. I wish you could take advantage of all of the tools instead of having to pick and limit. Recommendations to others considering Subsplash: Definitely a good product and a good company to get on board ...

Frustrated

If you plan to work with them, regardless of what they say, get all your questions answered up front and if they can't, then don't give them your money. We got two months into development and found they lacked a feature we absolutely needed and had to part ways. Through the process, we found their onboarding staff were unreliable, didn't know the product well, and required a separate meeting for just about every topic for which they might just cancel at last minute or leave you hanging. I ...

"Great, quick, and efficient customer service!"

What do you like best about Subsplash? The best thing I like about using Subsplash is their commitment to walking with their customers all along the way during the development of applications and websites. What do you dislike about Subsplash? Their prices are a bit steep depending on your church budget restraints. Depending on what type of functionality you want from your church app, the "add-ons" can quickly "add" up. What problems is Subsplash solving and how is that benefiting you? One ...
