I have access to Video Blocks footage as I paid a $99 per year fee. I just haven't been shooting any new video until today which made it somewhat difficult to download as some footage required payment.

Videoblocks is the best stock footage to come by!

I work for a health and wellness production company that produces a lot of content on a weekly basis. When I first looked into Videoblocks, I wanted to supplement some b-roll that I did not have time to personally go get for a project. I was pleased with the selection of the videos available. While I would like to see more videos in less staged settings, I do appreciate the variety and the quality of the videos. Incredible Value. Simple Licensing.

It may not have the depth of library that you would find on other sites, but the quality is excellent and the value is unmatched. Love what these guys are doing to the stock video world!

Okay clips, okay service, okay website.

Some of the clips you'll find on VideoBlocks are great, but you'll have to weed through tons of not to great clips to find the gems. For the price you can't expect a ton, so all in all, it's worth it. The website is riddled with glitches and problems, though, and support has a long delay in response- unless you want to call. But I rarely want to call.

Not Perfect, But The Best There Is

VideoBlocks has been an invaluable resource to me, particularly their selection of motion backgrounds. I honestly am not sure what I would do without it, and would recommend it to any small production house. That said, it's not entirely without stumbling blocks. Footage of common things (food, children, etc.) that I would expect to be a major part of any B-roll collection can be surprisingly sparse.
