Good selection to get started

When you just do not have the time to create your own background, GraphicStock has enough to get you started.

Helps me run a small press

As I grow my small press, I have been running into problems offering authors quality cover designs without paying high prices for stock images. I got an invite to try Graphicstock for free for a week. They had images and backgrounds that helped me put together better quality covers for my next 3 projects. I decided that they were well worth the price of a yearly subscription, even if I'm just using one of their backgrounds and adding elements to it--I've still got an original design in less ...

Self-publishers best friend

I wish I had known about Graphicstock when I self-published my first book. It's easy to find different high res images, and they're just as easy to download and embed. My only complaint is that searches don't always have the same results. I can search one term today and get 10 images, tomorrow with the same term I get 40 images, then the third day back to 10.

Good stuff from VideoBlocks!

I find it easy to use. I wondered why all clips went to meaning only some clips. But overall am pleased with what i can access.

Very good :)

Excellent price (USD$99) for unlimited downloads for a year. I just hope they don’t auto-renew my payment as I’d like to be able to make that decision for myself when the time comes. Right now if you search (for example) “cow”, you get 234 results including image & vector. Do the same thing on iStock and you get 74,779 results. Great range for the price – hoping that the collection will grow as the site gains popularity. Very happy with my membership thus far :)

Better than I expected

search engine works well, only a few unrelated clips in the wrong category. So far this service has been a tremendous help in getting school projects and demo commercials finished and on time.

Videoblocks, only one flat fee, up to a point.

When I first signed up for Videoblocks, I was really impressed with what was available for the money. Good clips and some OK music for a small subscription fee. And the collection was expanding. Then, the audio was split off as a separate service with a separate fee. Grumble, grumble. Now I finally have another project where I can use some footage. Surprise, there is now "The Marketplace" where you have to pay per clip. Grumble, grumble, grumble. If everything decent is going to be only ...

A must have!

Having switched from professional typesetter & graphic designer for many years to freelance, part time work, I can't justify a lot of expenses for stock art and photos. With GraphicStock, I have access to a more than ample supply of art options for any project I'm working on, at an extremely affordable subscription price. The art, designs, and photos are high quality, interesting, contemporary, well-indexed, and offer a variety of choices for any need I search for. I am really pleased to ...
