A no-brainer subscription
Videoblocks is an affordable solution for stock footage. I end up using it a couple times a year for projects and I absolutely know that I get my money's worth. I can find what I need and save money. The collection gets bigger all the time so it just gets that more useful

Not a fan of paying for videos
When I first became a member all videos were free (other than the cost of my membership) -- now 90% of the videos are for a fee... this dramatically reduces the effectiveness of my membership.... $50 for a 10sec clip is not something a average user (weekend warrior) can afford or more importantly, willing to pay. I probably will not renew my membership in July

They've got your back!
Video Blocks' customer service helped resolve copyright claims on my youtube channel immediately after I reached out to them. They have an amazing library of stock video, music, and After Effect templates. I've been using material from their site since 2013 and haven't exhausted them yet. With a membership, you will have a license to use material for any project, for worldwide distribution, forever. And that's exactly what you want if you're a filmmaker or video producer.
