Splashtop was just what I was looking for

What do you like best? Ease of download and set-up. Super helpful when I called to inquire. What do you dislike? Nothing! It works as described and met and exceeded my expectations. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I couldn't get remote access to work on the MS App, but Splashtop really works!

Great features / Reasonable pricing

What do you like best? It's easy to justify the cost to management (if needed) and it has all the needed features to operate remote PCs. What do you dislike? Sometimes the performance seems "jerky" or slow, but not certain it is the fault of Splashtop. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I can analyze/debug product issues in our factory and sometimes at customer sites. I work remotely (from home).

Replaces GoToMyPC nicely!

What do you like best? I like that it works just as well for a fraction of the new price of our previous remote work solution, GoToMyPC. They jacked up their prices to a level that wasn't cost-effective for us, as it's not used often. What do you dislike? I haven't come across anything I dislike. I did have some trouble getting it installed initially, but I don't think it was a problem with the software as much as my computer. The customer service help I received to get it ...

Easy access and just as if you're sitting behind your computer

What do you like best? Splashtop is very much like Logmein. Has remote control, transfer files plus you can have up to 10 computers. What do you dislike? It doesn't have the dashboard that indicates what time you logged in and out. Recommendations to others considering the product: Can't think of anything at this moment What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I can do some work from home, which means less hours at the office ...

Secure, Cost-Effective Remote Management

What do you like best? Secure, and affordable. We use Splashtop to access a machine running on a remote LAN that uses NAT. No complex ip-forwarding required. What do you dislike? Nothing really, except their logo! Maybe the name is a bit weird, but who cares? It's a very good product. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try it in a variety of scenarios, especially when connecting from the outside world into machines on a LAN using NAT. This works beautifully ...

Switched from GoTOMyPC

What do you like best? I had used GTMPC, but looked at SPlashtop after a huge prie increse from GTMPC. I like Splashtop because when working 3 monitors I can move windows around easily, closing one monitor if I like. It is faster and easier file copy or moving from one computer to another. Just a faster and more customizable experience overall. What do you dislike? Most all of it i like, it has a different feel than other solutions, so it took a bit of time to get used to it. ...

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

What do you like best? For over 10 years I had used another major computer access software. My host computer was continually freezing up, not loading programs correctly and generally taking up too much of my time to "stop the process" every day after I had accessed the host computer. Then the price increased 300% on my renewal date without prior notice!! This prompted me to start the search! After I searched for other software and read the reviews, Splashtop came out on top. I ...

Great alternative to TeamViewer!

What do you like best? Splashtop is very easy to use, and is very affordable. I also love the different options of accessing a remote computer. I can either set it to use the login info (no one needs to be at the remote location), or to grant permission when requested. What do you dislike? I can't think of a single downside. This program is very straightforward and easy to use. There was virtually no learning curve. Recommendations to others considering the product: I love ...
