is the speechify a scam??
We made a single licence purchase, and payment has been deducted from my credit card, but there is no access even after multiple mail requests. When we cancel the subscription, not even getting money back. Is this a scam??

They limit your monthly words to 150000…
They limit your monthly words to 150000 which comes out to about 7 hours of listening so about 1/3 of a book a month worth. They do then let you have free voices which is basically as bad as a browsers text to speech. It’s hidden in their terms of service and they make you get a year membership so by the time you realize it’s too late. The app is also just bad, it doesn’t actually work with kindle and will freeze and loose its place every 15-20 min.

We keep canceling, they keep charging
PLEASE READ THROUGH TO THE UPDATE BELOW! About 2 or 3 years ago my daughter (studying to be a special ed teacher) signed up for the Speechify free trial. She thought she had canceled the trial but my account was debited the full amount. At that time they had a phone contact so I called and it seemed everything was handled.
