What do you like best about SolarWinds Virtualization Manager? VMAN gives us a management overview of all VCenters we have (21). It helps to manage the resources by showing where are the bottlenecks and how we can solve them. What is really cool is the "Sprawl". The Sprawl shows you VM's with over(!) or under-allocated resources (memory, cpu, snapshot disk usage), long time idle or powered off VM's and orphaned VMDK's. What do you like best about SolarWinds Virtualization Manager? We extensively use the sprawl report, this has helped us improve performance by adjusting CPU and Memory for under utilized VM's. Also the Recommendations and being able to schedule changes has helped us further improve VM performance. What do you like best about SolarWinds Virtualization Manager? We are a VMware house first and foremost. 99% of our server infrastructure is virtualised which means we need a product that can integrate with our current monitoring system (solarwinds). The easiness of managing VMWare/HyperV appliances, VMAN being integrated in Orion Web Console and of course the nice user interface that comes with it.
